The Gypsy Embassy of Brasil Phralipen Romani (Embaixada Cigana do Brasil - Phralipen Romani) is a Civil Society, without lucrative ends, of character social, cultural and assistencial, that it aims at to reduce the differences through the culture.

We are dipped people of a same ideal: to rescue, to foment and to preserve the gypsy culture (that is our own identity) and to aid the members of clans that still find accessibility obstacles to the citizenship (identification), to the public health and the teaching. Besides, the relative difficulties exist to the cultural inclusion and the preservation of the traditions and of the cultural patrimony that are also part of our goal in the sense of: To defend, to recover and to value the history and the ethnic and cultural traditions of our people as well as protecting the rights patrimonial consuetudinários and the cultural and intellectual patrimony of the gypsy people.

Through plannings the entity develops projects and actions returned to the members of less favored clans giving to them the opportunity of citizenship practices. As well as, it also develops projects returned to the no-gypsies seeking, through the culture, to reduce the prejudices and to create the possibility of social integration.

We benefits gypsy families or no-gypsies of low-income, with consultantship educational, legal and psychological.

Composed by representatives of several gypsy and collaborating clans of culture no-gypsy, it values the process of construction of a right society.

I write to let know about plans for the Jubilee World Roma Congress taking place in London next summer [1-5 August]. For the first time it will be possible for all members of our communities (over 16) to vote electronically in the elections in connection with this Congress, and whosoever wishes to stand as Candidates.

Democratic Transition will bring greater legitimacy and accountability and a democratic process allowing all to participate and work together for better recognition of the Roma Nation and the defeat of "anti-Gypsy" racism.

Now you may be enrolled as a Voter (if you wish to be for more information or to be removed  email  Romvote@gmail.com)
