We are presenting an art exhibition of the extraordinary Ceija Stojka. Born 1933 into a Austrian Lovara family, she survived the Holocaust after being imprisoned in several concentration camps.
Her art works include touching documents of her experience and also powerful images full of love and beauty of nature. I would consider her work as an important contribution to Roma heritage. Please come and see this exhibition and spread the word!
In the year of the realization of the central memorial for the Roma and Sinti victims of Nationalsocialism in Berlin these pictures shall remind us all of the importance of this memory.
