Cluj-Napoca will host the 5^th edition of International Romani Art Festival. Recognized at a global level as one of the most representative cultural events, with a unique structure, that combines tradition with the newest forms of artistic expression of Roma inspiration, IRAF promises the people of Cluj-Napoca 4 full days.

Over 100 artists and artisans from 11 countries of the world, a rich program including concerts, dance performances, film projections, photo exhibitions, book releases, fire shows and modern circus, craftsmen’ fair, activities for children, informative actions, workshops and debates, activities within the penitentiary, will fill the city streets between 23^rd and 26^th of June.

International Romani Art Festival is organized by TURN Cultural Association, in collaboration with Bu Bu Bookinghouse and Events. The festival was awarded with a mention within the Culture section of the Civil Society Gala and the National Youth Agency, through the Timis County Youth Direction, offered IRAF a Special Prize, recognizing it as one of the best youth projects of the year 2008. In 2010, the Guardian-UK enlists IRAF among the events that offer Romania “a new face”.
