"*The Guitar machine*"
composed by:
*Billy Pavia* acoustic guitarist,
*Valerio Pavia *Classical and Acoustic guitars,
The kind that we present, can be translated as *"Smooth Middle Jazz".*
It is a kind affiliated to jazz, but cleared of harmonic complexity. It
consists in the choice and elaboration of celebrated songs like Swing -
Jazz.
*"The Guitar Machine"* offers a repertoire that has its roots in the Gypsy
Music; In particular they propose a musical performance generated by
various musical influences, enriched by a relentless rhythm and movement
and fast passages of notes resembling the fiery "Rasgueado".
The duo has performed around the south of France (Provance) in July 2013
and performed on the streets of Europe 's. The freedom of interpretation
understood in the broadest sense of the term is the main feature of the
project of "the Guitar Machine", they not only offer an excellent
contemporary jazz sound, but an expressive technique which is a lively
ferment of quality choices, a research lab "read" as a result of profound
reflections on the changes and the determination of a Jazzy sound more
personal and eclectic, ranging from the Swing across Manouche, Gipsy music
, tango and creating a path brilliant and staff in the world of jazz music.
*Billy Pavia*, 50, is a purely classical guitarist of extreme clarity of
thought and clarity of how.
His first approach to the instrument and the music starts at 8 years
self-taught. Later approaches to classical studies that will lead him to a
special focus on "clean touch" on the guitar. He soon joined the interest
in jazz, discovering new music meanders through a research activity in this
area that led him to create a personal style of improvisation.
It is always flexible, expressive, powerful, and it is always characterized
by a phrasing really clean, stylish, and inspired by the Gypsy Manouche
tradition, all with a perfect mastery of the instrument.
Valerio Pavia 18 year old, classical guitarist who also plays semi-acoustic
guitar, always hungry for new sounds, counterpoints, changes in steps of
rhythmic and melodic. His identity as a musician expresses itself in a
search for rigor and inventiveness and can be summed up in a very personal
and rhetorical sensitivity of the play, with the ability to adapt to any
style of music while maintaining his strong musical personality. His
performances are characterized by a way of running with a peculiar
technique of improvisation outside the box, than the "classic" way of
understanding the tool.
