In cooperation with the French Institute we organized a football match against the semi professional team of the enterprise Solvay Sodi. We played on the practice fields of Spartak stadion! The jerseys were donated by a Swiss newspaper. Most of the boys had only bad shoes, but it didn't matter - they were so exited! It was their first time on a real football court. In spite of much insecurity in the beginning we actually won 8 to 7! What a team spirits, what a beautiful and fair game, ethnic Bulgarians and Roma meeting each other as equals in spite of huge differences in social background.
