Might we be interested in a monthly group study about grief, loss, trauma, and/or mourning, to help resolve fear/hate, to enrich our present lives, to inform our understandings of the past?
Dear Tina,
I would be interested in such a group. Have you any further ideas on the goals or ambitions? I'd be interested in discussing this with you, if you like.
Best,
C
Dear C,
Thank you for the interest. Outstanding!
Soon I can share potential goals/outcomes for the brainstorm.
In the meantime, BEST to you too,
T
Dear C,
I am ready!
Do contact me when you can so we can discuss goals and ambitions for relevant programs.
Thank you.

Dear Tina,
Sorry to be so slow in getting back to you, but lets see what we can do now :) What ideas have you been thinking about? I have a few as well and perhaps they may go together. I'm eager to hear what you have in mind.

Dear all,
The United Methodist Women are doing a study for the next two years on Romanies and I have been very involved at their conferences and churches this summer and fall. It has been interesting.
There were a few Romani involved in the creation of their study guide, few are involved in the conferences and local churches. I spoke to one woman at an event who said she didn't think to look for a Romani speaker for her church because she didn't know any. I asked her how can they talk about us, study us, without learning directly from us? She had no answer.

This is their study guide for the study leaders. These leaders are usually excited about the study and have read everything they can get their hands on, though sometimes that isn't a good thing as they don't know how to determine fact from fiction.
Consider getting involved with this study. This is a global church with a very impressive record for getting things done. We can work with them to educate on a local and regional level. Some of the national conferences have already happened.
Best,
C
Dear Ciuin,
Life is full. All in good time. :)
I have a few ideas ...
A book study can be fun, easy, and relevant. Nonviolent Communication by Marshall B. Rosenberg might be an empowering and interesting choice. Then O Baro Porrajmos could have a FB page where we include weekly posts for anyone to review the chapter of the week.
Also, I have a game I could share.
What are your ideas?
Best,
T
