I posted my first draft on the IRADL page, but actually I would like, as you suggested, to pull it all together before we present it as a draft to the group. Or did you want to review it piece by piece?

I think you have much the harder job, the "why," and so I think I should take on another section while you are working on that. I can tackle "who." I think there are two "who's" maybe--the "who" of the Board, which isn't quite together yet, I gather, and the "who" of our culture, positive examples of our people's achievements. Or is my thinking of it awry? I cannot work much on it this week, as I must take a short trip that will occupy me, but I can start again the week after. Are we aiming for early April? I only have a foggy sense of our deadline.

All your suggestions sound fine to me. No, I would not use President Clinton, only those who acknowledge their heritage, like Charlie Chaplin, perhaps. I do have Dr. Hancock's book and will start there and will find out whom Els wants to designate as Board. Then perhaps we can see whom else we need to include.

Democratic Transition will bring greater legitimacy and accountability and a democratic process allowing all to participate and work together for better recognition of the Roma Nation and the defeat of "anti-Gypsy" racism.
