Cristina,
Sounds good...Very nice to hear from you! How are things for you? Enjoy the Holidays and the New Year as well as the New Days... Wish me luck on my battle with U.S. Immigration. If not , I guess I may have to go back to Japan or go to Europe somewhere...
much love and respect to you!
Stefanko
Hallo Cristina,
Thank you for your interest and reaction.
I read your proposal and like it also a lot. There are some similarities in our projects maybe we can find a way to interweave part of both proposals and help each other for the more practical part , Funding. I am now a year on this project and we created a network of partners and possible co-producers in many countries already. The update of my project is we ( my producer, Belgium partner and I ) started to contact Dutch broadcaster and applied to divers Funds in Holland. Waiting on answers. Then 1st of February at EU fund for active citizenship. In April we will apply for the EU cross media Fund and in October 2011 we will apply to EU Cultural Fund as this is a progressive fund on a year basis. Then there are quiet many other possibilities on national, regional and local level but that is application work then for national partners/co-producers. Also for New Media ( so hip now ) there are new funds.
I believe myself that we should start with one event, to meet each other and mainly get media attention and visibility. I had long an pleasant talk with Els last night and suggested the Roma Circus as location in Paris for event. It's central in EU and a statement. What do you think ? Of course to be checked if they want ????
Do you have a skype adress, maybe that's easier to communicate ?
Coming days I am close to the X-mas tree with my family but in the New Year full of energy again to take action.
Wish you and your family very good holidays and 2011.
Best regards Anouk
Hallo Cristina,
Happy and healthy 2011.
Only back in town and work today again so sorry for late reply. The Funds I applied for in Holland are mostly for Media and New Media projects and not for events so I don't think that will fit to start an event in Holland. Let's talk about possibilities soon !
Best regards
Anouk
Dear Cristina,
I heard from Els from your accident. I´m so sorry for you. Are you better now? I hope so.
All my best wishes to you.
regards
Viola
as you might have seen the cause on fb "Artists Initiative against Romaphobia ...." has been closed down (against our will!) and since more than a week I try to reach the people, who signed it up and ask them to join the new cause. Did you sign the new cause "World Artists for Roma Rights"? If not, please do so (you will find it at my fb-page) and if possible try to invite these persons you invited to the old one - this would be a great help to me. Thank you in advance and regards Viola
Dear Cristina, I would like to invite you to our new group here at "Khetanes": ROMANO THEM TRANSMISSION - with which we want to share the great culture and arts of Roma. Please join this group. Thank you! Viola

I write to let know about plans for the Jubilee World Roma Congress taking place in London next summer [1-5 August]. For the first time it will be possible for all members of our communities (over 16) to vote electronically in the elections in connection with this Congress, and whosoever wishes to stand as Candidates.
Democratic Transition will bring greater legitimacy and accountability and a democratic process allowing all to participate and work together for better recognition of the Roma Nation and the defeat of "anti-Gypsy" racism.
