T'aves baxtalo!

That will be great, Niko! I will soon send you a few names of artists we want to welcome.

For this moment I will be very glad when you address Zadzuro Yankovich from Chile, who joined us last week and started a discussion in Romani ch'ib on this site.

Please, invite him to join this group. I would do it myself if I could, but need many more lessons :))

I love this song, I know the music but wish I could understand the text. Wouldn't it be a great idea to publish translations of well-known songs?

Comment by Qristina Zavačková Cummings on March 28, 2012 at 14:56

I think that's a good idea. I have had non-Roma ask me about songs they've heard before. Some lines or some words that they really like. I used to think "no, it's ours!" but, now I think many people associate Roma with music--so, why not embrace that aspect and educate through that common connection? :)
